Appointments at Living Well Partnership

The coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic has forced us all to work differently to help slow down the spread of the virus. Living Well Partnership, as well as all healthcare settings are taking special measures to protect you, the public and our staff. We are working as hard as ever, but differently. Where possible we want to avoid people having to wait inside a waiting room together, as we know this increases the risk of the virus spreading. If you do need to come in, then we can ensure there are a minimal number of people in the practice, maintain social distancing and keep patients and staff safe. The easiest and most effective method to contact us is to use eConsult using the link above. If you are unable to use eConsult, you can phone our reception team who can help you. You will then be contacted by a member of the team to talk through your symptoms either over the phone, via text message, or if needed and you have the available technology, through a video consultation. Most health concerns can be managed over the phone or via video consultation. If you do need a face-to-face appointment, you will be invited to attend the practice.

It is important that, even during this busy period, you contact us if you are experiencing worrying non COVID19 symptoms or are feeling very unwell. We are still here to care for you. We also continue to offer routine care to our patients with complex needs. We understand that you do not want to come to the surgery unless absolutely necessary, and we will do all that we can to keep you safe & well at home. 
If you are attending an appointment, it is important that you do not have any COVID19 symptoms, for example fever, loss of taste or smell and new continuous cough. When you come for your appointment we will ask you to wear a face covering, take your temperature and ask if you are experiencing any symptoms. Please be honest so we can protect you, other patients and our staff. If you develop symptoms of COVID19, please contact NHS111 online or call 119 to book a test and call us to rearrange your appointment.  

COVID-19 Testing 

  • Testing is now available for all ages. Please be aware that to get an accurate result, the swab should be taken within 3-5 days of symptoms starting. For more information and to book your test, please see the Gov.UK website here
  • If you have had a swab test and received your result, please help us keep your medical record up to date by sending us your result via eConsult. Please use the "I want Administrative Help" link above. 
  • We are sorry we are unable to offer antibody testing to all patients. We have limited capacity to undertake phlebotomy (blood tests) so will be discussing with patients individually as required. 

Children and COVID-19

It is important to remember that not every unwell child has COVId-19. If your child is unwell please seek help from your GP, Pharmacist or NHS111. Gps, Pharmacists, NHS111 and hospitals are still providing the same safe care that they have always done.

The Healthier Together programme relies upon patients and healthcare professionals working together to improve how local healthcare is delivered. The website provide advice for parents, young people and pregnant women, and clinical resources to support healthcare professionals – which means that your child is likely to receive consistently high-quality care, irrespective of which healthcare professional they see. We are still providing childhood immunisation appointments. Please call reception to book your childs appointment. Only one adult can attend with the child and both adult and child will have their temperature checked when they arrive for the appointment. Please avoid bringing other children to the appointment.
