Repeat Dispensing

  • Do you want to save time?

  • Has your regular medication stayed the same for the last 6 months?

  • Was you last hospital stay at least 6 months ago?

If you have answered YES to all of the above questions, please visit reception or click here for more information on how to enjoy the benefits of repeat dispensing.

Repeat Prescriptions (Practice code J82192)

PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO ORDER MEDICATION THAT IS ON REPEAT AND HAS BEEN AUTHORISED BY YOUR GP.

Your prescription should be ready 3 full working days after you have requested it.  However if you would like your prescription to go straight to the chemist you will need to allow up to 5 working days for collection.

If you have been prescribed a medication by the hospital or your request is not straightforward, please again allow up to 5 working days before collection.

We ask that you only request repeat items on your repeat prescription form.

Thank you.

If the doctor has agreed, you may obtain repeat prescriptions by post (enclose a SAE) or by calling at the surgery and submitting a written request or by completing our online request form (please note that you would have to register your details for this service).

For written requests, please always use the white tear-off section (right hand side) of an earlier computer generated prescription, highlighting the items you require.

We do not accept prescription requests over the phone.

We are not a dispensing practice but if you request it, we can have your prescription collected by Rowlands pharmacy in Botley, Everett’s or Foggs pharmacy in Hedge End or St Luke's Pharmacy (opposite St Luke's Surgery). Also by Sainsbury (Hedge End), or Tesco (Bursledon).
